PLOT

The show revolves solely around the Eds, the other cul-de-sac children, and the Kanker sisters.Subtle hints throughout the series pointed to where the cartoon took place, as it was revealed that the cul-de-sac is in a town called Peach Creek. As similar to the Peanuts series,
no adults are seen, as well as the seeming lack of any other inhabitants and any other possible relations; besides Sarah being Ed’s little sister and a the running gag of Rolf and his mysterious family relations.

PLOT

Chaotic tells the tale of a teenage boy named Tom and his friend Kaz. They both play the Chaotic Trading Card/Online Game. Kaz always tries to tell Tom about a secret code to play for real which Tom refuses to believe. While playing online Tom receives the special password.
When he enters the password into his game scanner he is transported to a place called Chaotic that is able to take him to another world where the characters, locations and items in the card game came to life.
There are two parts to the Chaotic world, Chaotic itself and Perim. Chaotic is where the people play an advanced version of the card/online game where they transform into the creatures. The games can be watched via monitor by other players.
The second part is Perim. In Perim the creatures, locations and items from the game are real. Players from the Chaotic game can teleport into Perim and scan the locations, creatures and items with their scanners, gaining the ability to use them in their game. There are four tribes in Perim. Two tribes, the Overworld and the Underworld, have been at war over a great power called the Cothica. Despite their names, there is no definite good or evil tribe, as both have different stories and interpretations of how the war began, with each tribe seeing the other as being evil. The Danians and Mipedians have since joined the war, turning it into a four-way conflict over the Cothica. It is said that the Mipedians were once united with the Overworlders and the Danians united with the Underworlders; it is still unknown why they separated.

Both Chaotic and Perim are made up of a mysterious code called the “Chaotic Code”. The code is noted for constantly changing in random ways; thus, it is considered “chaotic.” In Perim, the Chaotic Code describes everything. It contains the information for all the creatures, battlegear, attacks, mugic (a cross between music and magic), and locations. The Cothica, mentioned above, is the source of all the codes in Perim. The code also describes everything in Chaotic. The BattleDromes, Transporters, and CodeScanners can analyze and/or modify this code for matches, transport, or creation of virtual cards.
When the players are in Chaotic/Perim they exist simultaneously on Earth. When a Chaotic player leaves Chaotic they become one person again and the Earth version of the player gains the memories of anything they experienced in the Chaotic/Perim world. This is awkward the first time they transport, as their online deck is blocked so that their Chaotic self can use it and their scanner becomes none functional, causing many people to believe they have broken their scanners until they are re-united with their Chaotic self.

Invader Zim Season 1 and 2

PLOT

Invader Zim revolves around the life of its lead character, Zim, his malfunctioning SIR Unit GIR and the humans and aliens who become involved in his schemes. Zim is a member of the imperialistic Irken race, an extraterrestrial species whose social hierarchy is based on height.
The Irken leaders, known as The Almighty Tallest, serve together because they are exactly the same height. As recounted during the series premiere, “The Nightmare Begins”, Zim, who is both very short and very naïve, was banished to the planet Foodcourtia for overzealously attacking his own planet and allies during Operation Impending Doom I.

Upon hearing of Operation Impending Doom II, Zim “quits” his exile in Foodcourtia and arrives at the Great Assigning. Here, elite Irken soldiers are chosen to become Invaders: special soldiers whose mission is to blend in with the indigenous life forms of their assigned planet, collect intelligence and prepare the planet for conquest by the Irken Armada.

Zim pleads with the Tallest to assign him a planet, and, in a desperate act to get Zim as far away as possible, they assign him to a presumed planet on the outskirts of their known universe that has never been explored. This “mystery planet” is Earth, and Zim’s erratic attempts at world domination and/or the eradication of the human race begin when he lands on earth for the first time.

PLOT

The series reimagines the title character Martin Mystery and his stepsister Diana Lombard (after Martin’s mother’s death, Martin’s father married Diana’s mom) as 16-year-olds attending Torrington Academy, a high school in Sherbrooke, Quebec. They work for the covert organization “The Center”, which secretly protects the people of Earth from extraterrestrial and supernatural threats.

Like all secret organizations,such as WOOHP, they must keep their work secret, thus anyone who comes too close to their missions, i.e. seeing a monster, will have their memories of the event erased. Not everyone who works for the organization is human. The short and green-skinned alien, Billy, is one of Martin’s best friends.

Java works as a lunch server of Diana and Martin’s school and is a caveman from 200,000 years ago; he also aids Martin and Diana on their missions. As far as “The Center” is concerned, Martin’s vast knowledge of the supernatural and his remarkable intuition compensate for his poor personal hygiene and huge ego. Diana resents these qualities at times, as Martin often does not seem to understand the seriousness of his missions, but generally loves him like any real brother. In a small twist of irony, Diana and Martin are lovers in the original comics version, and not step-siblings.

In the Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends universe, imaginary friends become physical beings the instant a child imagines them; unlike how the concept often works on other shows, an Imaginary Friend is totally real, and can be seen, heard and felt by all under most circumstances. Xiaolin Showdown Season 1

PLOT

Four young monks – Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo, and Clay – are forced into cooperation at the Xiaolin Temple after learning they are the Chosen Ones, monks chosen to become Xiaolin Dragons. At first things are difficult, but soon they become friends and are able to work together to search for Shen Gong Wu. Along the way they must battle the bumbling Jack Spicer, “evil boy genius,” and the Heylin ghost-witch Wuya, who Jack accidentally freed from a 1500 year imprisonment in a puzzle box. Through thievery, Spicer eventually possesses enough Shen Gong Wu to form Mala Mala Jong, an ancient monster that Wuya uses to help her gain control of the world. Raimundo defies orders and fights the monster, causing the remaining monks to fight and defend the remaining shen gong wu in the Temple’s possession. All of the monks, with the exception of Raimundo, are promoted to Xiaolin Apprentices due to their bravery. Enraged and humiliated, he joins the Heylin side as Wuya’s new assistant and helps her regain her human form.

Xiaolin Showdown Season 2

PLOT

Omi travels back in time and receives a second puzzle box from Grand Master Dashi, the Xiaolin monk who initially trapped Wuya, and freezes himself using the Orb of Tornami. In the present time, the frozen Omi – buried underneath Wuya’s palace for 1500 years – breaks free of the ice with the puzzle box in hand. Raimundo, repulsed by the Heylin side, decides that his rightful place belongs in the Xiaolin Temple and traps Wuya in the new puzzle box.

After returning to the Temple, the monks continue the search for shen gong wu. Eventually Master Fung promotes Raimundo to Xiaolin Apprentice along with the others. After this, the monks are introduced to Xiaolin monk-turned-evil villain Chase Young. Chase takes an interest in Omi and becomes determined to manipulate the young monk’s mind into joining the Heylin side.
When Master Fung becomes trapped in the Ying-Yang world, Omi asks for help from Chase; he succeeds in rescuing Master Fung, but upon leaving the Ying-Yang world his bad chi takes over and he joins the Heylin side. Chase restores Wuya to her human form, though without her powers. The remaining monks soon learn that Chase had sent Master Fung into the Ying-Yang world knowing the events that would unfold afterwards, including Omi joining his side.

Xaolin Showdown Season 3

PLOT
The monks, Dojo, and Jack Spicer travel to the Ying-Yang world to retrieve Omi’s good chi and return him to the Xiaolin side. After returning Omi’s good chi to him and gaining him back, the monks are promoted yet again to Wudai Warriors. They are then introduced to Hannibal Roy Bean, an evil villain who lives in the Ying-Yang world. Toward the end of their journey, Master Fung tells the monks that they have one final quest before the leader will be revealed.

Omi decides that he will stop Hannibal Bean from turning Chase to the Heylin Side; through time travel, he succeeds. However, when he returns to his present time, he learns that his actions have made things worse. Instead of Chase joining the Heylin side, it is Master Monk Guan whom Hannibal Bean turns evil. The monks and Chase are captured by Hannibal Bean, Wuya, and the evil Guan; Chase sacrifices his good self in order to save the monks and give them the opportunity to fight and return everything to the way it was. The monks succeed, and the timeline is fixed. At the very end of the series, Raimundo is revealed as the team leader, also known as Shoku Warrior.

PLOT

Avatar: The Last Airbender takes place in a world that is home to humans, fantastic animals, and spirits. Human civilization is divided into four nations: the Water Tribe, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads. Each nation has its own natural element, on which it bases its society. Furthermore, people known as Benders have the power and ability to control and manipulate the eponymous element of their nation using the physical motions of martial arts. The show’s creators based each Bending style on a style of real-world martial art, leading to visual differences in the techniques used by Waterbenders (Tai chi), Earthbenders (Hung Ga kung fu, for the most part), Firebenders (Northern Shaolin kung fu) and Airbenders (Baguazhang).

At any given time, there is only one person alive in the world of Avatar who is capable of bending all four elements: the show’s eponymous Avatar, the spiritual entity of the planet manifested in human form. When an Avatar dies, he or she is reincarnated into the next nation in the Avatar Cycle, in the order of the seasons. Legend holds the Avatar must master each bending art in seasonal order as well, starting with their native element. For the Avatar, learning to bend their opposite element can be extremely difficult; the example shown in the series is Aang’s inability to stand his ground head-on while Earthbending, his Airbender training having placed emphasis on circling, approaching from new angles and adapting on the fly.

The Avatar possesses a unique power and ability called the Avatar State, which endows the Avatar with all the knowledge and abilities of all past Avatars and acts as a self-triggering defense mechanism, although it can be made subject to the will of the user through various methods, such as extensive trial and training. If an Avatar is killed in the Avatar State, the reincarnation cycle will be broken, and the Avatar will cease to exist. Through the ages, countless incarnations of Avatar have served to keep the four nations in harmony, and maintain world order.The Avatar serves as the bridge between the physical world and the Spirit World, allowing him or her to solve problems that normal benders cannot.

PLOT

Aang awakens to find the group disguised as Fire Nation soldiers heading West on a Fire Nation ship, while Zuko has been restored to his position as crown prince and Iroh is imprisoned as a traitor. Sokka has planned a small-scale invasion of the Fire Nation to capture the Fire Lord’s palace and defeat Fire Lord Ozai, taking advantage of the solar eclipse. The invasion will be staged by a ragtag group of benders and warriors whom Aang has helped along his journey. Initially the invasion proceeds as planned, but Aang fails to find the Fire Lord before the eclipse ends. The invasion ultimately fails, and only Aang and the rest of the young ones are able to escape. Zuko, in a change of heart, decides to defy his father and join the Avatar. Zuko catches up with Aang at the Western Air Temple and offers to teach Aang Firebending. After some reluctance from Katara and Sokka, Team Avatar allows Zuko to join the group.

In the four-part series finale, Aang and his friends confront the forces of Fire Lord Ozai, who plans to use the power of Sozin’s Comet to destroy the other nations and rule the world as the Phoenix King. Iroh, who escaped from prison during the eclipse, leads the Order of the White Lotus to liberate Ba Sing Se. Sokka, Toph and Kyoshi Warrior Suki take down the Fire Nation’s airships, preventing them from burning down the Earth Kingdom. Meanwhile, Zuko and Katara take on Azula. Zuko seems to have the upper hand due to Azula’s deteriorating mental state.

However, when she fires a lightning bolt at Katara, he takes it to save her, gravely injuring himself in the process. Katara then manages to restrain Azula and heals Zuko. Aang struggles against Ozai, since he is reluctant to take his life. However, Aang is able to reenter the Avatar State and ultimately defeats Ozai by taking away his firebending powers with a technique known as energy-bending, taught to him by an ancient lion-turtle. With Ozai defeated, the war quickly ends. Zuko is crowned the new Fire Lord and, with the help of the Avatar and his friends, begins rebuilding the four nations. The series ends as Aang and Katara kiss beneath the sunset.
